Undiscovered Hilltribes of Chiang Mai

Duration: 2 day(s) - Location: Chaing Mai

PalongHilltribeWoman-ChiangMaiHead out and explore the North of Thailand and the home of the infamous Golden Triangle. Immerse yourself in the beautiful scenery and breathtaking views as you visit and learn about the fascinating and colourful people who live happily in these remote areas.

This 2D/1N tour takes you right up to the border of Thailand and Myanmar to experience and learn about how the hilltribes in this mountainous border area live. Once a thriving opium cultivation area they now grow alternative cash crops but their remote location means that hill tribes here still keep to traditional ways of life.

With some of the most mountainous terrain and diverse colourful ethnic populations in all of Thailand, the North is a must see.
